• The purpose of therole is to support regional strategy in line with AXA Ambition throughestablishing and implementing thestrategic and business development objectives for the entities in Asian Markets
  • He / she is responsible todevelop and manage the strategic planning process and other strategicinitiatives for the assigned entities in Asia Markets portfolio.
  • In addition,he / she will assist ChiefStrategic Development Officer (CSDO) in managing the portfolio of entities / projects of theRegion.

  • Strategy :

  • Activelyparticipate in the strategic business planning process, ensure to havestrategic review on the strategies execution of the Entity
  • Leadthe development and ongoing strategic analysis as necessary
  • Reviewstrategic plan and target letters, formulation process with local operatingentities
  • Workon strategic orientations of local operating entities (together with CEOs / Strategyin charge)
  • Providestrategic research and competitive analysis and assessment of the Entity
  • Monitorperformance of existing businesses, early recognition of pending issues,problem areas or new opportunities and ensuring the business addresses thoseareas and provide timely advice and support to Entities
  • Reviewbusiness targets to ensure consistency with strategic goals
  • Assistin strategy related projects as necessary
  • Lead,manage, support assigned projects across the region
  • BusinessDevelopment :

  • BusinessDevelopment include Origination, M&A, JV, significant partnerships
  • Manageportfolio of business development initiatives
  • Recommendand prioritise business development objectives, together with CEOs / Strategy incharge
  • Workon negotiation pitches and strategic rationale of business development initiativeswith local operating entities (together with CEOs / Strategy in charge).
  • Targetidentification, evaluation, perform screening of external growth opportunities;assess and approve target candidates (valuation, issues / risks etc.).
  • Identify& manage key business issues and develop resolution steps for review.
  • Ensuretimely information and communication to key stakeholders
  • Engage and build thebridge with the Group on regional opportunities.
  • Qualification :

  • Masterin Business Administration (MBA) strongly recommended
  • Actuarialdegree in Life or GI is a plus but not a must
  • Experiencein Insurance or financial services is highly preferred
