Risk and Administration Office is dedicated to manage operational risk, internal control, quality and sustainability across Operations, Services and Technology.

We also play a key role in driving robust service culture by managing customer feedback and incidents to ensure service delivery excellence, as well as providing consistent and strong operational support to our business partners on procurement management, financial planning and knowledge management.

Should you join our Risk and Administration Office Chief Control Office, you will contribute in driving continuous quality improvement to increase business partner and customer satisfaction.

You will have opportunity to take part in formulating internal control strategy and fostering an effective risk and control environment.

You will work closely with various departments to understand their operational and procurement needs, so as to structure comprehensive solutions to aid them to operate efficiently and excellently.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Business Risk and Control Manager .

Principal responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct testing on behalf of management and end-to-end assurance testing on high impact processes
  • Support operational risk framework for responsible areas through active engagement and relationship building with stakeholders
  • Review and enhance operations policies, procedures and mechanisms with relevant departments
  • Propose and implement remedial actions in response to review findings or other drivers
  • Manage projects in relation to HOST risk and compliance to ensure adherence to Group policies, statutory requirements and regulatory guidelines
  • Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or related discipline qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ banking experience, ideally with exposure to operations management in banking environment
  • Strong attentiveness to detail, compliance and control orientation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, project management and problem solving skills will be an asset
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
