Reporting to the Manager (Building Maintenance), the appointee will manage all aspects of building maintenance with an aim to provide a well maintained and safe environment for all campus users.
The appointee will be responsible for the following :
Leading an in-house team together with various contractors under different term contracts to facilitate a culture of good quality service delivery;
Reviewing of policies, procedures, tender specifications / drawings, risk assessment, method statement and guidelines benchmarked against best practices to ensure continuous performance improvement;
Maintaining budget and resources to achieve the most effective and efficient operation;
Supervising routine / planned maintenance works and providing 24-hour emergency response;
Communicating with stakeholders for addition & alteration and repairs & maintenance works;
Maintaining work order log according to service level agreement; and
Ensuring compliance with statutory and safety requirements and creating a culture of safety first across all operations.
Applicants should have a degree / higher diploma in building technology, construction or related disciplines with at least 10 years of relevant experience in building maintenance management, which should include proven experience in managing / supervision of subordinates;
good organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese is a must and proficiency in Putonghua is preferred.
Knowledge in AutoCAD, Maximo and GIS is an advantage. (Duration : 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
