To lead strategic foresight into our consumers and marketplace by leading the identification and prioritization of business opportunities at the Hong Kong market.
This position ensures that the business strategies are grounded in appropriate consumer and business insights and foresights to balance risk and reward
To drive the business forward through effective strategy development and execution by collaborating and supporting the market to satisfy consumers in a fast -
paced and competitive marketplace
Shapes components of business strategies through leadership in the planning cycle and the ongoing role in the management of the business
Trains, coaches and supports with the implementation of a customer led business planning process
Responsible for assessing business performance results and identifies what is working / what is not working from a consumer standpoint and provides key to help lead, direct and coordinate Zone Focus
Devises appropriate measurement strategies to chart progress on all strategic initiatives and identifies corrective action or additional opportunity as is appropriate
Acting as historian and conscience on business strategies to ensure that we leverage McDonald s historical knowledge base, current learnings across the globe and make clear, timely calls on business performance and brand health
Develop strategic framework around the platforms on product offering, service, pricing, operations and people excellence
Accountable for the strategy development and execution in the assigned territory through collaborating and supporting the region / country involved.
Work with senior management, country heads, functional teams and peers in Strategy & Insights to achieve business objectives
Facilitate the 90 day review sessions with key personnel from the Executive Leadership Team to formulate strategy and action plan.
Support the Strategic Execution Teams to carry out those plans and track results
Provide leadership, guidance and strategic consultation to different parties and improve cohesion among them. Promote transparency and open and frequent communication
Focus on innovation and develop new ideas to help the region to flourish. Exert line of control, influence key stakeholders and support and drive them to reach targets
Consumer and Business Insights
Develops innovative research techniques and systems which predict or measure causes of sales progress or profit building opportunities and which have the potential to be Corporate Standards as well as enables to better understand stakeholder needs and expectations now and in the future
Identifies and develops sales and profit building initiatives, sales forecasting and business cases
Leverages cost economies of scale and time by initiating, supporting and managing pan area research and information system initiatives
Brings consumer insights to life by representing the consumer voice into McDonald s decision making process, and by being more forward looking in the way we apply consumer research and evaluate the data
Coordinates and manages the use of common research tools to provide benchmarking in the market and globally
Review global or regional initiatives for implementation. Conduct feasibility studies and ascertain how synergy can be achieved and impact the value chain positively.
Capitalize the company’s strong infrastructure and maximise the spirit of partnership
Degree or above with major in quantitative, numerical science or related discipline
At least 10 years’ experience in CRM system development and deployment, database marketing, database development, report tracking and automation
Very good interpersonal skills, proactive, innovative and open minded
Able to work under pressure and meet very tight deadline
Fluent written and spoken Chinese and English
Computer literacy in Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point is a must
